After reading that his gender would be changed, Mark was further shocked to see his age. 40 years old. Mark would nearly be doubling his age. The female sounding computer began to speak up once again, "Your new name is Mindy Sanders."
Along with this statement the computer screen began to show a gorgeous female body without a head on the screen. The body was dressed in a tight red dress that seemed to hug every curve. A large packet of documents then emerged from the front of the van, "These are additional pieces of information about your new life. You should read these and try to memorize your new role in the Town. Included are biographies of your family and friends as well as a brief life story that should help describe your goals, interests, and habits."
Mark reluctantly grabbed the packet and began to flip through the information within. Jack decided to speak up, "So I guess I'll be calling you mom from now on."
Mark was furious, "I'm losing years off of my life span. I'm 24 and now I'm being forced to lose 16 years!"
Jack tried to console Mark, "Don't worry about it too much. After a year all the people who want to switch can. There is no selection process, but you can try again. How about we just try to make the best of it. Lets read up on who we are going to be and just buy into the program. According to this we are going to be the wealthiest family in the town. Tim Sanders owns the main restaurant in the town as well as the general store. According to this we practically live in a mansion."
To be fair that did sound kind of nice to Mark, but he was still worried about living the life of a 40 year old woman.
