Erica had been cooped up in a car all day. A car with her lovely children, with their not-so-lovely sticky hands and treats. A car with a faux-leather interior, and an AC system that could stand to be a bit more powerful. The end result was that she desperately wanted to cool off.
"Why don't we have some fun in the water park?" she started. Jake groaned, Cindy cheered, and the twins didn't seem to bothered or happy ether way. Jess just shrugged, starting to usher her kids in the proper direction. Of course, this path wasn't without hassles either. Getting the kids into suits was a struggle in and of itself. Especially Jake; bringing a rowdy boy like him into the ladies locker room was going to be bothersome.
Of course, the whole group was too impressed to be bothered as they neared the water park. A series of water slides, almost a maze of them, with a jungle gym-like structure running through the middle. It was lined with water guns that patrons could use to shoot at the people going down various slides. At the top of it, a bucket slowly filled with water, occassionally sounding an alarm before dumping its contents onto the crowd below.
Bringing the kids into the changing room, the two adults decided to change first, one after the other so that the kids could be attended to. Jess went in and came out wearing a blue one-piece swimsuit. Erica went in a second later, undressing in a private stall. She'd chosen a purple bikini; not the most revealing swimsuit in the world, but still enough to make Erica feel a little self-conscious as she stepped back outside to meet the group. They changed the kids easy enough, Jess bringing the girls in one stall while Erica waited outside another for Jake to get into his trunks. That was when they hit their first hitch:
