You sat for a while and watched the little girl work on the castle. She quickly got into a routine, scooping sand from the moat into the bucket, then using the bucket to build up the castle. Soon, there were four single bucket towers surrounding a large triple bucket tower. How she got the dry sand to stay in a perfect shape was a mystery to you.
To be honest, you didn't stay for the castle; you stayed to watched the incredible act of a normal sized person moving. Even on her knees, the girl was taller than anything you'd ever seen, and every movement of hers seemed to defy logic. There was no way anything that large could move so fast, yet she continued to scoop sand and fill buckets.
You were standing far enough back to feel safe, but in the back of your mind you knew it wouldn't make a difference where you stood. She could cross miles with a single step, and you had to deal with grains of sand the size of truck tires. Plus, the danger and adventure was the reason you shrunk down; you might as well start now.
Soon enough, your trance was broken by the rumbling of the earth. Brother dearest was returning, and he was heading right towards you. His shadow quickly covered you, and his massive sandy feet plowed through the ground with ease, yet you couldn't be bothered to get out of the way. Don't take it the wrong way; you were scared shit less. You just realized how futile it was to try and move. Hell, you could see rocks stuck to the boy's feet that out sized you. As the massive sole filled your sky, you took a breath and hoped for the best.
