Damn, she must have good ears to have heard a three-quarter inch man drop into a pile of hay. You, however, don't need espceially great hearing to pick up her shouted response.
"Sally-Anne!" she bellows, the added acoustics of the barn making it echo like the ending of the world. "Get in here and see what's disturbing the cows!"
You stick a finger in your ear to try and ward off the assault of sound, and with your head poking from the hay you can see another giant woman enter. She's younger, maybe just creeping into her twenties, a wide-brimmed straw hat shielding her from the sun, and a tough set of dungarees worn below that. She lazily chews at a piece of wheat clenched by her jaw as she looks around.
"What?"
"Think I heard something in the hay over there. I'm in the middle of somethign right now, so go check it out, would ya?"
Sally-Anne sighs, but obeys. Her great big boots crunch closer as she strides toward your hiding place. What will you do now?
