Beth was the first to wake up. She was very groggy and "out of it" when she became aware of her surroundings once again. She tried stretching "her" body, but was left confused when only her right side responded. She also noticed that if felt like the left side of her body, and the left side of her face felt numb. She was only able to manipulate the right side of her face, and the lips.
When she looked down, her confusion only increased when she saw that not only was her body nude, but only the right side of the body looked like her own. "What the fuck is going on..." She thought to herself. At this moment, she had no recollection of the aliens that had abducted her earlier.
As she was trying to figure out what was going on, she felt a yawn escape her lips. She grew frightened when her lips began to move without her moving them herself. The left side of her body began to stretch, and the left side of her face began to move on its own. She could only observe in terror as the left side of her body began to seemingly control itself. Anna was waking up.
Like Beth, Anna felt a similar confusion when only the left side of her body responded to her intentions. "What in the hell..." She said aloud. Beth accordingly began to freak out as Anna began to wake up. She felt weird feeling her mouth and tongue moving without her intending for them to do so. "Who the hell are you, and what are you doing on my body?" Beth angrily questioned. Anna recognized Beth's voice immediately, and responded, "Beth? What the hell are you talking about? What are you doing in my house you bitch?!"
"You're house?" Beth questioned. "This is my house you dumb bitch! And what the hell are you doing so close to me! Get off of me!" Beth tried moving away from Anna, but she was seemingly pulled back to Anna. She tried moving her head away as well, but felt it tugged back by something. "I should ask you the same thing Beth! Why the hell are you on me right now?"
She tried moving away as well, but to no avail. "Why can't I get away from you?" She asked. Beth responded, "I don't fucking no! I can't get away from you either!" Their head began to twitch back and forth as they both tried controlling it. Beth looked and saw a mirror on the table next to her.
Through the confusion, she reached for it, and put it in front of her face. Her and Anna's expressions quickly turned to fear as they saw what the aliens had done to them. They saw halves of their faces seemingly put together on the same head. They began to scream and cry as Beth dropped the mirror onto the floor below.
They desperately tried getting away from each other, not being able to believe the situation they were stuck in. Each time they tried to pull away from each other, they were seemingly pulled back together. They began to argue with each other, causing ther mouth and tongue to sporadically move around as they both tried to speak. "I blame you for-" Anna tried to speak, but was cut off as Beth tried controlling their shared tongue and lips. "Blame me? This is clearly your-" Beth responded, but was also cut off by Anna.
This string of interruptions continued as they both tried to control their lips and tongue. After a while, they gave up fighting, and tried to calm down. They were out of breath, and found that they now shared lungs as well, forcing them to try and breathe in sync.
"Look," Beth said. "I don't know what's going on, and I don't know why we're both stuck in the same body, but as long as we're like this, we have to learn to work together." Anna reluctantly nodded their shared head before responding, "Yeah, I guess you're right. We'll have to get over our hatred for each other for now."
After a short discussion, they agreed that they would try standing up and walking around. Working together, they slowly lifted their shared body off of the couch they were sitting on. They wobbled around a bit as they were standing up, but they were slowly abel to find a sense of balance.
"Alright," Anna spoke. "I'll take the first step, then you'll follow with your foot." She lifted her left leg, and moved it forward, planting her left foot into the ground. Beth followed according and lifted her right leg and foot, stepping forward before placing her leg next to Anna's.
They tried this for a couple minutes, and found more of a rhythm. "Alright, now that we've sort of gotten walking down, I think we should go to the bathroom mirror to look at our body." Beth suggested. Anna nodded and responded, "Sounds fine to me. Let's go, then."
They slowly made their way to the bathroom. They turned to the mirror, and began to examine their body. As previously mentioned, the body they shared was split into Anna's left half, and Beth's right half. Anna was tan, while Beth's skin was a lighter color. They shared everything, including a single head and face. They each had their own arm and leg to control, and their backside was made up of Anna's left butt cheek, and Beth's right.
Both of them felt uncomfortable as they both looked down at their private parts. Their was a single vagina between their legs. It looked odd, as it was made of Anna's left side, and Beth's right side. Thinking the same thing, they both reached down to touch their vagina. They found that they shared equal sensation and control over it.
After the checkup of their body, Anna and Beth didn't know what to do next. They looked up at the mirror, and noticed that they had bed head. It was a weird mess of hair, as Anna's hair was long, blonde, and straight, while Beth's was short, curly, and brown.
They stood their awkwardly for a few moments, before Anna decided to speak up. "I know we're gonna feel uncomfortable doing this, but I think you would agree that we should take a shower." Beth thought to herself for a moment, wondering if that would be a good idea.
She didn't realize, however, that Anna could, in a sense, hear her thoughts. Inside their head was a single brain, which was a combination of Beth's and Anna's brains. So, it's not surprising that they would be able to hear each other's thoughts. Anna decided to point this out to Beth, who was oblivious to this. "Um, Beth, I can hear what you're thinking. We probably share a brain, so..."
Beth was surprised and worried that Anna could actually her what she was thinking. "Well," Beth said. "since you can hear my thoughts- er, our thoughts, I guess, then you would know that I agree with you that we should take a shower."
With that, they walked over to the shower, and Anna set the shower to hot. Beth didn't like this, however, and let Anna know it. "Anna, I prefer cold showers." She used her hand to set the shower to cold. Anna frowned her side of their lips before responding, "Well, I like my showers hot." She set the shower back to hot.
Both of the women looked inward at each other with angry expressions. But, they both realized that arguing wasn't gonna solve anything, so they let their emotions go. "I guess we could just set it in the middle?" Beth suggested. Anna agreed and said, "Yeah, I guess lukewarm is fine."
As they begin to step into the shower...
