It's hard to call this luck though you find as Fulda's weight finally settles and you under the arch of her foot. Even at your size it's not much space you can tell, though you can't see in the all encompassing darkness. All you have to go by is your sense of touch as you feel the canvas wall of the shoe to one side, the soft insole under you, and the rest? The rest was nothing but warm thick cotton fibers that contained her mammoth foot which flexed and stretched over top of you like a slumbering beast. Not slumbering near long enough though, Fulda has no time to taunt you or even worry if you're alive. She probably in fact does think you're dead as she starts to walk and the real trouble begins.
There's not much space to be sure but you'd probably be better off if there was less still as your fractional sized body bounces with each step as G forces take hold, her foot constantly shifting inside the shoe threatening to toss you under it yet. Your stomach lurches which is the only reason you're not screaming in terror, you needed to secure yourself and the only thing was her sock. You grasp hold the next time her foot slams down, your arms so tiny you can fit them between the fibers in a hug, your arms actually brushing her flesh on the other side. Clinging like a mite, the taste of blood in your mouth as you bite your tongue, somehow you manage to last what seems like hours, and in truth is a mere ten minutes as the shoe encompassing you falls away, or rather the foot slips free. You drop what seems like stories but air resistance saves you the same way it would save an ant dropped from any height, your impact on the floor a mere bounce. And another bounce as two massive socked feet slam down on either side of you. But where were you exactly?
