Hermione's large fingers enter the dark confines of her underwear that Kyle slipped into, wrap around him, and lift him to safety. Well, maybe not necessarily safety, but a preferable situation than the one he was just in.
He hopes.
When the rushing feeling stops, Kyle finds himself looking into Hermione's angry, flushed face. Ooohhh boy she is not happy. Hermione seems so flustered, she can't even get a word out.
"You!" she finally manages to spit out. "First you bump into me repeatedly, then you knock me over, and then you make me spill my entire shrinking potion, and now, now, now, this!" There's vitriol to her words. She's pretty furious. Kyle opens his mouth to reply, but she won't have it. "Shut up!" she yells, and before he can blink he gets another intense rushing sensation before finding himself crashing into the bottom of the backpack. A loud zip and he's plunged back into relative darkness.
He tumbles around when Hermione shuffles the backpack around and sets it in the seat next to her. Then she pretty much ignores his existence for a while. Kyle looks around at little baubles and items stored in the backpack, but it does get rather boring after a bit. Eventually he hears the car doors open and her parents return. Then he's in for a boring car ride.
After a while, the backpack gets picked up again and he tumbles around with its contents. Not too long later the tumbling turns into a moment of weightlessness, then a bouncy crash. She must be back at her hotel, and he just crashed onto the bed.
A loud zip, and here comes the giant fingers again. Kyle doesn't bother fighting, he knows it will only make her more angry. She brings him to her face. This time, she doesn't appear absolutely furious.
