A knock on the door got me away from my game as I rushed over quickly checking if my zipper was up "When did I have mustard?" I asked looking at an embarrassingly big mustard stain on my pants, I shrugged it off and opened my door, the my horror it looked like a woman in her thirties in a robe. Which I knew all to well why.
"Hail Plainsmen of the coil. I come asking for a favor." She said
"Uh yeah I-I don't have any money." I said but she laughed
"The convent doesn't need such things. We need a witness." She said
"A... witness. You're not breaking the law are you?" I asked
Once more she laughed "Not at all. The ritual requires an outside to observe in case we need testimony to the divines to show our deeds were preformed in truth." She said
"And you just need me to watch?" I asked
"Yep!" She said
"Alright." I shrugged and she clapped excitedly "Wonderful! Right this way." She said as she all but skipped back to the weird house down the street, I knew about their weird cult but they didn't really do anything. Just huddle around the house, do some chants here and there. Sometimes trying to sell weird looking cookies or something. I just ignored them for the most part. As she brought me in through the door I was at ill ease. While none of the women there were off putting... anymore than a bunch of smiling ladies in matching robes could be... the place was musty and every wall had a myriad of crazy symbols and patterns scrawled on them
"Soul Keeper, I have the witness." The one that brought me said to one of them with a special hood that had some kind of holy symbol made of gold perched on her hood
"Wonderful! Please stand right here." She said pointing to a definite eye with a pupil made of more crazy symbols swirling into an oval.
"Ebbing kindling, listen for we have our witness. The passing can now commence." The Soul keeper explained
"Toe nook!" They responded gingerly before bowing in unison.
"And now..." The Soul Keeper exclaimed, holding out a vial with something pink inside. Two other robed figures came in front of her with a brass cauldron filled with water. "It begins."
She uncorked the vial and dropped it into the cauldron, and immediately, a mushroom cloud of black smoke erupted out that rapidly filled the entire room, burning my eyes as it came down all around me. They didn't fight it off as the gas surrounded them all, but I barely had to breath to begin coughing, the rancid air quickly numbing my brain, and I slumped down in the floor, barely able to tell when my eyes were closed as the all the blackness became so strong, and soon it all overcame my brain...

After the police got my statement I shambled home. With being unconscious for so long, by some miracle I managed some sleep. But when I got up that morning the was another knock at the door when I opened it I was shocked to be looked down at from at least eight feet in height with a loving smile from some kind of white furred wolf-woman with bizarre bull horns, claw like finger nails, black eyes with grey pupils and a dragon tail covered in fur, I could tell because she was completely naked with some bizarre symbol burned on her left breast and a spike piercing on her left nipple "Hello, husband." She greeted sweetly before letting herself in, looking at her waddle I saw she had thick sea foam green hair hanging down to her giant butt in natural curls "Let me make you breakfast."
"H-Husband!? What are you!? Why are you in my house!? Ho-how is this happening I-" But my questions were halted by another giddy laugh
"Oh Husband you are so funny." I was floored as some purple tusked alligator woman of similar stature walked in but she also had feathered wings, her eyes glowed with an orange hue as well as stegosauri spikes along her back, she too had weird symbols along her body and her lips were much larger with blue lipstick
"You witnessed the passing so by the divine's law we are all your devote wives." She said pointing to my yard which was full of them, each one another crazy and huge creature that looked to have parts of other creatures added onto her each with a different set of strange symbols while some of them simply glowed an aura of differing colors
But emerging through them was a man in a jumpsuit "Paul Bennetty?" He asked
"Y-yeah." I said
"I'm here to repossess your TV." He said
"I-Oh shit. Look pal I'll pay it off my checks are off cause of the holidays." I said
"Yeah I'm real sorry pal but my boss wants it done." He said advancing before a cleaver fell just short of his shoes shearing the toe off and slicing the steel toe
"How dare you! Be gone insolent worm! Lest we cleave you to sunder!" Out of the lot of them a bunny girl with giant ears going down to her waist studded in uniform dangling above several fox tails and a snake tongue coming out of her mouth, holding a gigantic cleaver with eyes sobbing black tears on either side of the blade clutched in her hand
"Holy shit!" I yelled and the repoman was frozen as the rest of them seemed to crowd around him with horrifying demonic weapons appearing in their hands pointed at him.
"Husband, do you desire anything else?" The bunny asked innocently
"T-Time out! you can't threaten people like this!" I said trying to push my way through them. They instantly kneeled and the repoman started running before an iron hand grabbed him by the leg making him fall on his face, he turned over and started crying
"L-listen guy forget about this! I just want to see my family!" He pleaded
"Sorry!" I yelled to him "Let him go!" I said
"You don't want to punish him?" A tiger woman asked
"No! He's just doing his job! Let him go!" I said
"So wise, Husband." A shark girl said making the fist receded and the man ran away crying
"Huh... I'm probably going to jail." I said but all of them assembled around me pressing their amble weight against me in a comforting manner
"We will take the blame for you, Husband! We live for you!" The wolf lady said
"St-stop it! Okay so I doubt there's any way out of this so I'm making some ground rules. Don't attack people just because their not being nice. Also clothes! Please just put some clothes on!" I said "Why are you even these... animal people!?" I asked
"Oh we didn't choose these bodies. The passing transformed us to your desires." A pony girl said
That truly had me stumped...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
