Star Sapphire steals Green Lantern powers

Carol Ferris walked back to her office from a quick walk. She could not get Hal Jordan or Green Lantern out of her mind. It seemed to her that something was blanked in her mind. As she opened her desk drawer, a jewel named Sapphire floated up in front of her face. Her eyes became fixated on it when suddenly a flash of light exploded in the office and Star Sapphire had reemerge

“So Lantern blanked my mind so I would not be able to assume my rightful place” With that she wished open a window and flew up into the air

Hal Jordan was taking a day off from work and home for rest. Dozing off, he did not see the air stirring and the ring on his finger floating up into the sky . Suddenly a loud voice was heard “Green Lantern I challenge you” Jumping out of a sound sleep, he looks into the sky and sees Star Sapphire “It is useless Hal Jordan, I know who you are and you will pay for insolence “ Quickly running to his lantern to charge is ring ,he finds it missing


“Looking for this” was the statement and he looked behind him and Sapphire was standing with the lantern in mid air air and her hand in it reciting the oath. Suddenly a green beam came from the ring shaped like a giant hand and grabbed him. Flying into the air, Sapphire looked at him “I now have your power and my Sapphire power. Nothing will stop me in my quest for power.”
“Carol Ferris memory merged with my past interactions with you. I was able to use her to get the additional powers I needed and that is why I could use the lantern “ “And now what to do with you???”
