"So you're Penny Teller from The Big Bang Theory, dressed as Wonder Woman for the New Year's party, right?" the ticket seller said, as he took Stacy's money and gave her a ticket.
"Just Wonder Woman," the twenty-two year old blonde replied, regretting she hadn't worn a dark wig with her costume. One of her friends behind her snickered at the exchange.
"I loved that show," the ticket vendor continued, ignoring Stacy's reply as the next person in line stepped up to buy a ticket.
Point of fact, the costume Stacy was wearing was an exact duplicate of the one Lynda Carter wore almost half a century ago. Well, not an exact duplicate. Stacy, a college senior and part time fitness instructor, was half a foot shorter than Lynda Carter, narrower in the hips and one cup size larger in the chest. And, as the ticket vendor observed, Stacy had blonde hair that reached down to the small of her back, rather than dark hair that stopped at her shoulders.
Stacy waited for her friends to all get their tickets, before they began discussing what they wanted to do first. Stacy wanted to do the hedge maze first. Some of her friends wanted to do the haunted hayride first, while others wanted to check out the shopping area.
