They find the Latina

    by: Unknown
"I guess she was too mad with power to realize you still had her personal items." Eric noted, as the two walked along the sidewalk to Elisa's house, after having looked up the address on his phone. "Even if that isn't the case, it's a miracle as far as I'm concerned." James agreed, now talking note of his smaller height since Eric made him relatively aware of it. "God, I wish I were taller." He groaned. Surprisingly, Elisa didn't live that far from the mall she hit up; most likely wanting to steal from a place close to home for her first time. The two friends were now two blocks away when Eric started noticing physical changes of the few civilians walking out just like them. A man with smaller, feminine arms trod right past them and a woman with a very masculine mustache sat on a bus stop bench, reading a book across the road. "Uh, dude, are you noticing these people?" Eric inquired, to which James replied, "Of course I'm noticing them. They're just enjoying the weather, I guess. Unless, you actually mean that they're...." He realized that people were swapped around, although the changes were more subtle than his own earlier. "Damn, you caught sight of them pretty quickly. Maybe she's testing the ring out; in which case, we should head to her house more quickly!"

James took off running ahead of Eric, now less than a block down the road. Suddenly, James feels his balance shift; he can't notice any changes, figuring he must've tripped on a hole or something. In actuality, Eric could see that James now had the lower body of a black woman, clad in jeans and flats below his younger upper body. "Hey, James!" He called, which ended with some success as his friend stood still to look back. "What's up?" James yelled back, unaware that the rest of his upper body then became that of a white business woman, wearing a tight blouse straining against his modestly size chest. Habitually adjusting the glasses on his feminine face, he scolded Eric, "Dude, we can't keep dilly dallying; Elisa's got that ring and could be using it at this very moment!" "Yeah, no kidding." Eric grumbled to himself.

Now being a mix of races, James obliviously kept going forward, stopping at Elisa's front door. "You think she saw us?" He asked, as Eric caught up. "That would be an understatement." He replied, poking Jame's less broad shoulder. Quietly opening the unlocked front door, Eric sneaks inside first with James a foot behind. The front of the house had no lights on and all of the doors in sight were open. "She could be anywhere...." Eric whispered, looking over to the dining room adjacent to the front hall. Creaks can be heard from different parts of the house, but neither of the two could deduce whether that was from a person, or just occasional noises. James went further down the hall, his footsteps muffled by the softer flats adorning his dark skinned feet.

James heard a female voice shout from Eric's side of the house, so he sprinted back to see Eric pinning Elisa to the floor, the ring visible on her right hand. "Help me man, she's stronger than I thought!" Eric shouted. "Oh, you have a friend?" She snidely remarked. "That was a dumb idea!" Elisa stares at James, intending to make a swap between him and Eric; but to her surprise Eric is still normal and holding her down. Trying again, Elisa grows enraged that her fun is cut so short. "What the hell; why isn't this thing working on you!?" She says directly to Eric's face. "Wait, what?" James overheard, stepping forward and not reaching for the ring. "Damn it, James. Grab the freaking ring!" Eric demanded, bringing James back to his senses. "Uh, right..." He complies, moving over to grab the ring on Elisa's finger.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. The ring won't come off Elisa's finger.

2. Elisa swaps bodies with James again to confuse Eric.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
