"The creature started to stir."

A loud snapping sound brought both of their around to stare at the dark woods.

"Did you hear--"

"Shh," Stephen whispered.

Laura grabbed his hand as something was obviously in the woods and headed in their direction. She looked around. "Maybe we should hide."

Stephen gasped, "I think it is too late for that."

Laura's eyes widened at the sight of the giant that stood head and shoulders above the tree tops. "It is so tall; maybe it won't see us."

“I don't need to see because I can smell,” a voice boomed.

Laura screamed.
