Sabria was now eighteen years of age. She always remembered the time she snuck out of the house and into the woods. She remembered seeing the ugly wolf and how scary he was. She also remembered the faery Celine, who was her mother and that the wolf had eaten her. She also remembered that the wolf backed down when Celine, her mother, came upon the scene. All these years she wondered why would the wolf mind the faery Celine. She asked her dad, but all he could say was "never go back into the woods."
Since she was of age, she told her father she wanted to go back and see the wolf one more time. Her father became enraged and locked her in her room. That to Sabrina was nothing. Even though the windows were very high up, she moved her bed next to the wall where the window was, then placed her table on top of the bed and climbed up, open the window and jumped out. When she jumped, she sprained her foot and it really hurt, but she was determined to meet this wolf again.
Sabrina limped towards the woods. In her mind she would be protected by Celine and besides, she wanted to know how the wolf came about.
