Vienna finds a way to tell her friends what hap...

When you left and Vienna was free she couldn't let herself believe what had really happened. She made up a story for herself and believed it. She realized that you were right that she didn't deserve a man like Marcus and that she didn't blame him for leaving her. She felt sad an alone. She needed a new boyfriend. That was the only way for her to feel good about herself. But her standards were so low that she couldn't get a boyfriend as good as Marcus.

She told all her friends that Marcus had left her. She told them it was her fault and she didn't want to talk about it. All the while she looked for a new boyfriend. Finally she decided that she didn't have to love her boyfriend, it was just good enough that he was with her. She decided to pick a boy that she didn't really like, but who couldn't say no to her. That boy was Skippy.

Everyone in her class knew Skippy, but few had any interaction with him. He was an odd boy from as long as anyone could remember. When they were in elementary school, Skippy was the boy who would eat the paste everyone used for class projects. Skippy didn't seem to know what a tissue was, he preferred to use his arms. It didn't matter if he was wearing long sleeves or not. He was mostly picked on and had few friends. This was the boy that Vienna would set her sights upon.

Vienna was the first person to really be nice to Skippy. Skippy was suspicious at first, but he realized that he had little to lose. Vienna invited Skippy to her house to make him her boyfriend. She sealed the deal permanently (or so she thought) by taking the boys virginity. The boy was awkward and it didn't feel good at all, but Vienna didn't care. She would rather be with this boy than to be alone.
