Deciding it was too risky to make your way across to the Volley ball court and not really wanting to be alone with your sister after her towel treatment of you, you decide to head to the sea and hang out with Ana. Standing up you dust the sand off your butt and begin running towards the ocean, weaving between a few groups of people relaxing on the sand. Surprisingly you make it to the water without trouble, Ana is quite a way out, up to her chest in the water as the waves rise and fall so you stepped into the ocean to begin wading out to her, shivering from the sudden contrast in temperature as your feet hit the vast amounts of cold water that was splashing your warm from the sun skin, thankfully though you melt in hot temperatures, unlike your dad, a normal warm day like this wasn't enough to do it so you had little to fear from the days heat alone.
As you get deeper, your feet leave the ground and you have to swim, paddling out towards Ana, losing sight of her every few seconds as a wave rises up infront of you and pushes you back, it sucked to be so small and lightweight. All of a sudden a rather large wave reared up and crashed down on your head pushing you under, you get a mouthful of sea weed as some loose patch of it slips into your mouth packing it tight as you spin head over heels, losing track of which way is up. As the current and the waves throw you around you try to spit out the sea weed in disgust, then broke to the surface with a gasp, the salty water stinging your throat.
Looking around you realise that the waves have pushed you further down the beach away from Ana and your friends, you try to call out to the now small figure of Ana but your voice comes out as a tiny gasp, the salty water having done a number on your throat, you've lost your voice for the moment. Before you can think about what effect that will have on your day at the beach another wave smashed down on you and pushed you back under, you whack your head on a little rock sticking out of the sand and the world goes black.
