Your dad pondered a little bit. "If you really want to go with your friends, then i trust you", he said.
"Oh thank you!", you squealed as you gave him a big hug. You climbed on top of his shoulders as he ran over to your friends.
"Hey, uncle Jackie. What's up?", Kat greeted.
"Hello, girls. I hate to bother you, but would you mind if we tagged along until i find Jill's mother?", he asked.
"The girl at the counter thought dad was a little kid and they made him go back", you added, causing him to blush as Kat and Ana giggled.
"No problem", Ana said. "We got a little bit of money back for the tickets, so we can get on the bigger rides if you want."
"ooh! That sounds fun! I wanna try out The Meteor", you said excitedly. "You know, the one that goes really high before dropping you really fast."
Jack listened as you and the girls chatted about all of the fun things to do as they walked over to the booth. "Hey, aren't you that kid from earlier?", she asked.
Kat tousled your dad's hair and chuckled. "Sorry about that. Our little brother just turned 6 and he thinks he's a grown up now", she said, causing your father to blush heavily. You knew he hated being treated like a child, as much as you hated being treated like a doll. You could sympathize with his plight.
"Hehe, i gotcha", the woman said as she took your dad and your friends' tickets. "You stick close to your big sisters, okay little guy", she said in a cute voice as she pinched jack's cheek.
"Yeah, sure..."
Both of your friends snickered a little bit as they accompanied your father through the gate. "Hey, there's the meteor", Kat said as she pointed out the ride. "Let's all go on it together", she said as she grabbed your dad's hand and dragged him over. He was stopped, however, by Ana holding onto his other hand.
"That ride's gonna be to dangerous for Jill and him", she said. "They might fly off and get splattered on the ground. We ought to go on something safer, like the haunted tunnel." the haunted tunnel was a pretty scary ride, from what you heard. Spooky props, people dressed in scary costumes, and even some animatronic monsters on special occasions. You figured that it'd be fun, but Kat apparently thought otherwise.
"I, uh... Th-that ride might be too scary for them", Kat said.
"Kat, are you sure you aren't scared?", Ana giggled.
"What?! No, I..."
"Girls, please", your dad said as he squeezed his hands out of their grip. "Since neither of you can decide on what we're to ride, I think Jill ought to make the decision." You really admired your dad right now. He could have easily pulled the "I'm an adult and what I say goes" card, but he wanted you to have fun while you were here.
You thought about your choices for a minute. The Meteor sounded really exciting, but what Ana said about flying off from that high made you reconsider. The Haunted Tunnel sounded like it could be fun, but it seemed like Kat really didn't want to go. Your dad seemed like he would be up for anything. After thinking it over for a minute, you decided...
