“I’ll go to the river,” you decide as you head out, your spacesuit shedding rain as it pours down on you. “Let me know if you detect anything on the way.”

“Will do, Captain,” Erin responds cheerfully. You walk North through the forested terrain for around forty minutes before your computer speaks up again. “You’re just under halfway there, and I still haven’t gotten anything but normal data from your environment yet. How are you doing?”

“The hike isn’t bad,” you admit. “I’m definitely enjoying seeing all the plants around here. It’s a great view.” You continue walking for another forty-five minutes before…
