Elliot went to work as Heidi (El Goonish Shive)

Despite herself, Susan was looking forward to working with Elliot. The movie rental business was a dying brand and that left a lot of free time. Sharing the occasional shift would be great.

It was taking him a while to get here but that wasn't worth worrying about. There must've been traffic. She idly checked her phone...

And raised her eyebrows high to the sky as a grand total of twenty messages from Ellen appeared. What in the world could have possibly...?

"Ah, you must be this Elliot person I was told about," came the voice of her boss Tensaided.

"That's me! Elliot Dunkel, at your service!"

Susan's head immediately shot up at the chipper voice. There was a girl at the door with a maniac grin, bright pink hair, and the energy of twenty children at a birthday party.

"But you can call me Heidi!"

This was gonna suck.
