Jack Wakahisa pretty much left Pete alone for the rest of the day, until the following day when the boys shared the same classes in school.
Pete was still standing outside in the schoolyard, talking to Sandra, one of the cute cheerleader girls, when he felt his body levitating in the air.
“AAH!” Pete screamed, as his body was floating through the open double doors of the building and down the hallway past the students until he sailed into the first classroom. There, Pete’s body came to rest in a chair by a desk, right next to… Jack!
“It was about time you showed up! You’re almost late for class! Good thing I made you come in here, huh?” Jack grinned.
“DUDE! I can walk in here on my own!” Pete protested.
Just then, the bell rang.
“If it weren’t for me, you would be late, and you’d get tardy! So, shut up!” Jack sighed. “I’m gonna transport you to all your classes from now on!”
“Ohh, brother!” Pete groaned!
Indeed, Jack made good on his promise! As soon as the bell rang, indicating the end of the period, and when Pete had finished packing his bag, he felt his body lifting off the chair.
“You got the same schedule as I do, so this will be super easy!” Jack chuckled, as he made Pete float next to him. Pete was gliding an inch above the floor, floating right next to where Jack was walking. “Isn’t this fun?”
“You can’t make me float or fly forever! I also got soccer and track to go to!” Pete grumbled.
“Don’t worry! I’ll control all your movements on the field, and nobody will even care!” Jack smiled.
Pete became a little worried by now. How would this go?
