They say a persons vocation says a lot about their personality. The same can be said for any adventurer, both in broad terms and for specific classes of adventurer. In a general sense, adventurer's tend to be very driven people, be it for fame, fortune, thrill, or family. They also tend to throw themselves eagerly into bad situations in such a way that others might call "insane". In more specific circumstances, however, you can usually look to how an adventurer carries out their job to find how they might act.
Fighters or Barbarians tend to be straightforward people, good with a sword, axe, or shield. Ranging from heavy armor (for the more conservative or careful fighters) to leather straps and scraps of hide (for the wilder, more barbaric warriors.) They can take a lot of punishment before slowing down, but their prideful nature can get them in trouble when facing tough enemies.
Wizards or Sorcerers are usually clad in heavy robes. Wielding powerful magics, they have a tendency to hold themselves haughtily above others. Their magic can be unpredictable, however, and their attitudes typically don't make them many friends. They can dish out a lot, but it doesn't take much to send them into a tizzy....
Rogues or Archers are fast, agile adventurers that use their speed and wits to outsmart enemies. Good in a pinch, and good at keeping cool, they tend to come up at a loss when in a face-to-face fair fight.
