The human royal family of Nuderia were an odd sort. Like any royal family, their sense of familial pride and loyalty ran deep, as did their natural sense of human modesty. And yet, despite the posh life, the relative lack of responsibility until adulthood, and the riches, there was some dissent among the members of the family. At the very least, a few young males of the family were finding themselves in an odd spot.
Prince Rodrick has recently come of 21 years of age, and in the eyes of the aristocracy, is long overdue on finding a bride. Tall, lean, and handsome, he's attracted more than a few offers, even from non-human kingdoms, though for whatever reason none of them have seemed right to him. Between the pressure from his family, the frightening prospect of a diplomatic marriage, and the unwanted responsibility of ruling in general, Rodrick is finding his loyalty to his kin and kingdom shaken.
His 3 years younger brother, Prince Callum feels similarly stifled behind castle walls, though unlike his older brother, he still gets away with most anything, and has little to worry about in life. His mind is a curious one, however, and he dreams of being allowed to roam free through the kingdom, no retainers or royal responsibilities fast enough catch him. The odds of him surviving outside the castle are somewhat skewed; while he does mean well, he is spoiled, though not quite rotten, meaning that his naivety can get the better of him at times. Not to mention, while he is an attractive young man, his is a body that hasn't known a day of work. Still, its his wits that let him get away with so much inside his family's castle, it's likely they'd serve him well on the outside as well.
Their older brother, however, Prince Dalton, is nearing his time on the throne, with his father's health ailing - nothing deadly, but enough to convince him that his time is better spent relaxing and recuperating, and leave the troubles of the modern kingdom in the hands of a younger, more modern mind. However, while the King trusts his son dearly, he isn't quite ready to abdicate his throne. Dalton, be it through diplomacy, or great achievement in battle, is looking to prove himself to his father. His heart is true, but is single-minded devotion to his task might cause some problems to blindside him, especially considering not everyone approves of his headstrong nature.
