The ship's door slid open. John cautiously looked out and assessed his situation. Before him was a long docking bridge that connected to a massive cylindrical tower that seemed wide as it was tall. Much of the surface of the cylinder was covered in semi transparent glass and through that glass John watched several tiny figures moving to and fro. Nothing about them struck John as being out of the ordinary. In fact, given how far away and how small they were, the figures seemed to be perfectly proportional to himself. Nothing other than the absurdly large structures gave any indications of a universe dominated by giant women. It seemed that whatever disturbance John went through on his journey might have caused a glitch in the AI.
John gave a heavy sigh of relief and started to make his way towards the tower and possibly figure out where he was and where he needed to go. Just as he started to take his first step a massive object rose up from the side of the docking bridge. It was monstrous in size and round in shape and rose higher and higher directly next to where he had stood on the bridge. It ascended fast and in John's shock he started to back up towards the railing furthest from the object.
John took in the rising monstrous orb. Features slowly revealed to John what the foreign object was. Two massive eyes, each as tall as John was began to break the horizon of the docking bridge. As they ascended they stared down at him, directly into his own eyes. next, a massive nose followed by a large toothy grin came into view and then hovered just above John's eye level. The giant face smiled down at him, staring and seemingly expecting a response from him. The massive woman breath washed across the bridge buffering John on a minty scented breeze. The face hovered near the railing farthest from John who felt time stand still as he waited to see what she would do.
"It's good to see you arrived safely Mr. Shepard. I am here to escort you."
Her voice rang out across the cavernous docking bay. Her smile was warm and inviting and although her voice was loud and almost earshattering it was musical and soothing. John simply stared as his brain tried to process this unimaginable creature.
"Your sister didn't tell me you were shy, John. Don't get to see a lot of ladies back on Earth I take it. Don't worry, we don't bite...well, most of us anyways. That's why I am here: to keep you safe until tomorrow when we take off."
Her smile faded slightly as John continued to stare dumbfounded. She looked at him nervously waiting for a response before suddenly smiling again.
"Oh jeez how rude of me! I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself! Very off putting for someone to talk to you who knows your name but you dont know theirs, right? Anyways...my name is..."
