Chapter #6

Back at Camp

    by: bugger Author IconMail Icon
Your mom walks for about another fifteen minutes. It's quite a bumpy ride, but her shirt pocket is a lot cooler than her vagina. The only bad thing is, your mom pretty large breasts, and the pocket is directly in front of the left one, which means there isn't as much room as there otherwise would be. Finally, your mom gets back to your campsite and your dad asks where she's been for the past 12 hours, and why you're not with her. "You'd better sit down," she says to your dad and Ellen.

"What I have to say is..well..it's unbelievable. But it's true." They all sit down at the picnic table, and your mom begins telling them about the crashed ufo, and the dying alien who had done something to her. "Are you saying that our son has been abducted by aliens?", asks your dad. "NO!. Of course not", your mom replies. "Whatever the alien did to me, it knocked me out. When I came round, I..saw Nick standing underneath my face." Your dad starts to speak again, but your mom stops him. "Just before she died", says your mom. "The alien did something terrible to Nick. She..she shrank him. He's now only one inch tall."

Your mom, dad, and Ellen, fall silent. Then you hear Ellen ask, "so..where is he?". At that point, you see a giant finger and thumb appear at the top of the pocket. Your mom lifts you out and gently places you on the table. Your dad and Ellen stare down at you. Both have looks of total amazement on their faces.

Finally, your dad says, "I can't believe it. He's so..so tiny. What're we gonna do?, we can't leave him like that."
"We may not have a choice," says your mom softly. "I think the alien may have passed whatever powers she had onto me. But I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to return him to his normal size. He may be stuck like that forever."

Your dad sighs as he looks at you, "are you ok?", he asks. "Apart from being..that size".

You nod your head and smile at him. "I'm fine dad", you reply. "It's a little scary, being only one inch tall. And I'm pretty helpless. But at least I'm with you guys instead of the air force".

"Air force?", asks your dad as he looks at your mom. "What's he talking about?." Your mom tells him how the Air force turned up just as she was about to leave the alien craft. She tells him how they took her back their base and, after briefly being searched and medically examined, she had spent the past few hours convincing them that she was from Earth. She also tells him that she only just managed to hide you from them, but she doesn't tell him where. "Ok," says your after a few seconds of thought. "Tomorrow, we'll pack up and go home. I don't wanna take the chance of Nick being carried and eaten by some animal."

"Thanks for that image dad", you say. You hadn't even considered the possibility of ending up as animal's dinner. "I'm sorry son," says your dad. "But it's a very real possibility. As for the three of us, we're all gonna have to be extremely careful around Nick. He only goes on table's and the like. NEVER, on the floor. At the size he is now, one of us could stand on him and not even realize. Oh, and if one of us takes him into the kitchen, DON'T put him anywhere near food. We don't want any accidents. Now, in case this is permanent, when we get home tomorrow, I'll start working on stuff for him. He's gonna need a bed and somewhere he go when he wants some privacy."

"Well, I've still got my old doll's house", says Ellen. It's in the attic, and there's a bed and furniture in it too. It just needs cleaning up." Your dad nods his head. "Good thinking Ellen", he says. Ellen smiles triumphantly. "Couple more things," says your dad. "First, even though he's only an inch tall now, he's still a human being. And he's still our son, and your brother. Other than helping get from place to place, and bringing him food, we treat him no differently than we did befoer. Nick, I want you know that we're gonna do everything we can to return you to your normal size. But you should prepare yourself for the possibility that you'll always be that size." You nod your head sadly and reply, "I know dad, I've already thought of that."
"One thing", says your mom suddenly. "I know that we're gonna have to be real careful around him. And don't ask me how I know this, I just do, but one thing about Nick being shrunk is that he's vitually indestructable. In fact, the only real way to harm him, is to eat him. And I don't think that's very likely."

"No, but we still need to be careful. Though I suppose it's something", says your dad as he looks at his watch. "It's getting late, and we have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow, I think we'd better turn in. Nick, I don't want you sleeping on your own tonigh, so you do you wanna spend the night in our tent?. Or would you rather go with your sister.
