Peter chuckled quietly to himself as he peered around his sister's door. He always thought it was stupid how much time Emily would spend in front of her mirror messing with her hair, but today it looked like it would give him an easy target. Still, he didn't want to alert her to his plan just yet.
He took a deep breath, taking careful aim as he began to lightly press on the button for weight gain. The device didn't make any sound as a small red beam shot forth and hit his sister. She stopped brushing her hair and glanced around, before shrugging to herself resuming her brushing.
Peter waited, watching his sister intently for any sign of change. He was just about to shoot her again when she stopped and set the brush by the vanity beside the mirror. There was no way that he could shoot her again without her noticing now. He rushed back towards his room as he noticed that she was making her way towards the door.
Emily was sure that she'd seen something by her door, but as she poked her head out she was greeted with an empty hallway. She looked both ways just to make sure before shrugging and shutting her door as she returned to her spot in front of the mirror. She frowned as she looked herself up and down. She felt like there was something different, but she couldn't quite place it...
She was interrupted by a knock on the door, "Emi, breakfast is ready, come and eat. You don't want to be late for school."
"Okay. Be there in a minute."
Emily took one last look at herself, tugging at her shirt as she tried to get it to sit right. It kept clinging to her belly, making her look like she had a little bit of a pot-belly. Maybe her mom had forgotten to put dryer sheets in the laundry again, she thought as she made her way to the kitchen.
Her stomach let out a loud growl as she sat down at the table across from Peter. She was starving, more so than she'd been just a few minutes ago. She glanced down at her belly, which seemed a bit rounder to her. Maybe she was putting on a bit of weight. Still, it wasn't like she'd really been eating a ton lately. Still.... Maybe she should just have a light breakfast. Though, she was really hungry, and it wasn't like one meal would make that much of a difference.
