This choice: a girl from your assigned dorm • Go Back...Chapter #5a girl from your assigned dorm by: Runner a girl you've never seen before. She was about your age, maybe a couple of months older, and dressed in the same uniform as you. Her dark brown hair was tied in a bun, while her brown eyes stared at you in a way that showed exactly what her thoughts were. "Another one?" the girl said in a disgusted voice that made you instantly wince from embarrassment.
"Not quite, Paula. Magical accident. Found the book that was intended for her twin sister" Alison said, before addressing you. "John, this is Paula. She is one of the girls that you'll be boarding with. I'll leave you two alone so you can both get to know each other better."
"No way. First I'm going to find some clothes, then I'm out of here" you growled, your patience near its' end.
"One word of advice. Anger would accelerate your changes, so try to stay calm" Alison said as she walked from the room, making it clear you weren't going to get any more answers from her. Gulping, you turned to Paula, hoping that she didn't know who you were.
"Magic accident?" Paula enquired in a neutral voice.
"No. All I did was I found this old book and opened a few pages" you said, blushing slightly.
Paula gave a thin smile. "Wow. You're lucky?"
"Lucky?! You call this lucky? Look at what I'm wearing? You might be suppressing the urge to giggle at me, but others won't" you protested.
"Hey! My mother had always wanted girls, but until five months ago, never acted upon it. She transformed my brother and when I protested, she repeated the 'favor'" Paula said.
"Oh" you said, no quite knowing what to say.
Paula gave a thin smile. "As for the girls around here, a lot of them would giggle, while other students would try to finish you off, especially if there is no change after a couple of days. Be wary around the 'troubled girls'" Paula warned.
"Finish me off?" you said, alarmed.
"Yes. Finish your transformation. Of course, what they overlook is that they'll be dealing with one very pissed off witch and if you are who I think, you'd be quite powerful even without any training. Even without their involvement, you'd find yourself changing. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news."
"I've got to stop it" you said, alarmed.
"You can't" Paula said regretfully. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
