This choice: She's fat enough to fill that room! • Go Back...Chapter #4She's fat enough to fill that room! by: Unknown "oh..." He face clenched up, body bending in by the legs. "...oh, no!"
"Miss, is everything alr-"
Her stomach jolted back out from a quick little spasm, left rounder than before. She didn't feel any warning from another that shook her again a few seconds later, printing her naval onto the front of her shirt.
Candace and I watched, boring deeper into awe as our captive shook from another burst, then another, and then another, her stomach taking longer with each one to stop jiggling through the onslaught of spasms as it drooped closer to the ground. Patches of green scales blossomed along the smooth tracts of skin that started pouring out of her clothing, distorting the skeleton of wherever they grew along her body into distinctly reptilian joints and features. Her skull melded her nose and mouth together into a rigid snout that stretched into the point of a dragon's maw, bearing razor sharp teeth that were clenched through her transformation, while spindly appendages poked from her shoulder blades that webbed into a modest set of wings.
Her feet clattered onto the icy ground as pudgy claws, her chained fists rising higher and farther from the pipe as the growth of her shoulders pulled their reach of one another apart. The cuffs dug deep into the flesh of her wrists till they were torn clean apart, but by then, her stomach'd been wracked with so many pangs that its extreme weight kept her helt in place as it lowered onto the floor in a big, scaly ball, swallowing most of our view of her legs. Her arms ballooned too wide at the bicep for them to bend past her breasts, and without the bindings that held them up, she fell back onto her ass, shaking the ground and the some of the frozen meat hanging around us.
"Food..." She rumbled, but her voice still as high pitched as ever, despite the beast she'd become. "I want...fooood...
"What the hell just happened?!"
I spun away from the two, hitting my earphone. "Miss Holmes, can you read me? We need help in the meat cooler!"
"Gregory? It's me, Mavis!" Came her much-more-welcomed voice. "What's happening on your end?"
"Look, did Oscillate just grow really fat in a bunch of short jumps?"
Somewhere at Mavis' end, I could hear a faint "DON'T LOOK AT ME" scream from the background.
"That'd be a yes."
"Same here for the captive. What should we do?"
"Well, right now, we've got a mob forming in the lounge. Mind checking it out while we send somebody to the kitchen?"
"I'm on it." I switched off the phone and ran for the door. "Candace, you stay here till help arrives!"
"Help? Wait, where're you going?"
"To Aether Suites. I'm on riot duty."
.....
The classical music played in the Aether Suites' lounge was snuffed out by the chatter of a colorful, furry mob of anthros crowding around the center desk, which had its windows barred out by a spiral staircase winding around. A round platform stacked on top with a microphone shone as the brightest spot in the room, thanks to the chandelier hanging right above.
Everybody grew antsier the longer it dragged on without me getting up onstage, making it all the harder for me to work through. "Coming through! Pardon me, I'm the speaker!"
It took all of seven minutes to make it to the steps and run up onto the platform, where I lowered the microphone by four feet. "Attention, Gaia 2.0 residents!"
The clamor didn't waver in the slightest.
"Attention, Gaia 2.0 residents!"
Only a handful of guests noticed me, and started elbowing their friends to look, but they couldn't plug the drain.
This time, I stepped away from the mike by some feet and let out a loud whistle, burning the air with an unholy screech from the speakers. The sound cut through their bickering like butter, unleashing a symphony of surprises screams and hands being smacking over ears, but thankfully nobody's were bleeding as every eye in the lounge gave me their full, undivided attention.
"Attention, Gaia 2.0 residents..." I continued. "...as many of you may have guessed, I'm here on account of the events that'd transpired a little over an hour ago in the Fate's Hand Casino. It's now that I can verify that, although motives are still being investigated, all responsible for the commotion have been captured and are being held in legal custody. Certain areas of the casino are to be closed due to investigative reasons, but let it be known that all facilities of the hotel remain safe enough to remain open, and nobody at this point is required to leave.
"Now, if there are any questions, I'll answer them one at a time, and within reason." indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
