Phoenix thought over his decisions and realized his most viable one was swapping himself with Maya and flirting with Larry so he would cooperate with them. He sighed, he knew he was going to regret this decision in a short while. He aims the remote at Maya, who is going on and off about how he isn't the greatest lawyer ever and he owes her a burger for being late, he presses the button to swap and nothing happens yet.
