As Edgeworth opened the door he was greeted by none other than Kay Faraday. Kay had investigated with him on many occasions and was a valued partner and assistant. Her and her special device 'Little Thief' had been a great help more than once, having her around during investigations was a delight.
"Hey Mr. Edgeworth!" She shouted as she practically bursted into his office, slamming the door he opened for her as she entered. The vibrations from the door slamming had caused the pieces on his nearby chessboard to fall over and nearly knocked over the cup of tea he had placed on the table.
Having her around during investigations was a delight, during days off was less so. "Kay. I believe I have already explained to you that barging into the prosecutor's office and causing a ruckus could get both you and myself charged for disturbing the peace." He lectured her as he went over to his chessboard to pick up the fallen pieces and put them back in their rightful place.
"He he, Sorry Mr. Edgeworth. It won't happen again." Kay apologized, although this was a stock apology she would give to Edgeworth anytime she would do something that he either disagreed with or lectured her over.
As he picked them up he remembered the device that had been delivered to him. While testing it on Kay would be a breach of her personal space, she had done plenty of breaching of his personal space. Additionally, it wasn't as if they were going to be swapped very long. This was just and experiment of the remote's capabilities. If it worked, he would swap them back immediately. If it didn't, then he would throw out the remote like the piece of prank garbage that it was.
As Kay sat down on Edgeworth's couch, he pointed the remote toward her and pressed the button. What kind of swap did he do?
