Arisa's Indefinitely Extended Stay

by: Bobo the Hobo Author IconMail Icon
As much as Arisa loved the sweet smell of frying dough and confectionery sugar, even someone as mobility-impaired as she was couldn't spent the entire day in a place like D's. There was plenty more vacationing to do, and it was just a couple minutes of digestion away.

Acting as her attendant, Hannah removed herself from behind the booth's table and helped ease her gigantic guest out. This was no easy feat mind you, nor would it have been if Hannah were twice her size in muscle. Arisa was a large, belly-heavy woman teetering at nearly seven hundred pounds. Her stomach was filled to the rapidly widening brim with sweet pastries and creme filling, cracks cemented with milk and ice cream. Even seated in the handicap booth (specifically designed for folks with her particular impairment) Arisa had to struggle to work herself free. Her big bronze belly lapped over the table, pooling onto its surface like an insurmountable mountain of chocolate pudding. While Hannah coaxed her out, Arisa's colossal double chins collided, her jowls quivering as she panted with the effort of getting herself standing.

Eventually though, the enormous heiress got to her feet. Her orange halter top looked vastly under prepared for the herculean feat that was keeping its owner dressed, however. It had been a recent acquisition in Daven's Port, something "summery" as it were, and had not been acquired through the usual tailors and clothing experts required for a woman of Arisa's supreme girth.

Hannah was, at least, kind enough to leave a donut for their waitress--as well as a generous tip.

Waddling out onto the sidewalk in the blaring hot Summer sun, it was Hannah who was the first to suggest going back to the hotel.

"I mean, I think that's enough exploring for today, don't you think?" Hannah said uneasily as she watched Arisa huff and puff her way towards the car, "You look like you're due for a nice facial. I'll see if I can't get Miguel to throw in a free massage..."

Arisa came to a calamitous stop as soon as she reached the car. Its hot black sheen sizzled in the sunlight, and her poor brown belly could feel its heat from inches away. She was exhausted from all that walking, and on a full stomach too! She hadn't been moving around much lately since she'd been living it up on her company's dime, she'd never gotten so tired this easily before! Recently. As in, since she started her vacation... Today. She hadn't gotten this tired today.

"I'm kidding, of course." Hannah said as she opened the door, "I'm his boss. He has to give you a free massage."

Plopping herself down on the Herculean suspension that kept Hannah's limo on the road, Arisa was a wobbling, quivering pile of bronze blubber. Her cheeks rippled and her body quaked with the impact of her elephantine immensity. She let out a gasp of relief as soon as she was off her feet, her poor atrophied muscles just begging to be put out of their collective misery once and for all.

No sooner had Hannah slipped into the seat beside her, an almost comically undersized woman compared to the titanic Thai despite her full seat and round chest, than her phone started to ring.

"Ohh, who is it?" Arisa whimpered, her jaw hung slack as fatigue had its way with her, "I'm not really in the mood for any long conversations..."

"It says Mommy, sooo..." Hannah said with a smile, her hand emerging from Arisa's designer purse triumphantly with one rose-gold iPhone, a Skype notification displayed center screen "Were you expecting a phonecall from Mrs. Boonliang-Spencer any time today?"

Arisa racked her calorie-crusted brain. Oh, it had been so long since she'd actually talked to her mother. She had probably said something about calling Arisa at some point, but the poor overfed heiress couldn't properly place when and where she'd said it. More than likely, her mother had made the mistake of informing Arisa of her schedule while her daughter was eating. Or when she was eating. Or when there was food in the general vicinity. Or if she had been wearing a perfume that smelled particularly delicious.

Arisa made a small noise of displeasure, dreading a phonecall with anyone, even her mother, after such a strenuous morning. She was sweaty, her hair was a mess, and she was so burpy...

"Umm... okay... put her on the video chat." Arisa whimpered.

With a few expert taps of Arisa's phone, Hannah had everything connected lickity-split. The television that hung opposite to the two affluent alums came to life as the chandelier dimmed, and the true head of the Boonliang-Spencer Corporation, Kritsana Boonliang-Spencer, was put on the screen.

She was a rather young woman, at least when taking into consideration that she was the tycoon of tycoons. Her company had reached all across the world, and she had only just recently celebrated her forty-third birthday. Once upon a time she had been a waifish, stern-looking woman with long black hair and a penchant for business suits. And while the latter remained more or less unchanged, it was no secret where Arisa got her impeccable taste from. Ever since her partnership with the Yeng Corporation, thus bringing her into the fold with Hannah's own line of hotels, Kritsana had been slowly growing outwards. Within the past year or so however, for a myriad of reasons, Kritsana Boonliang-Spencer had come into more than just a passing resemblance to her vastly overfed, overindulged daughter.

"Arisa!" her mother's cheeks bulged and her double chins squashed against one another, "It's so good to see you sweetie--and Ms. Hammond, you look wonderful!"

"I could say the same to you, ma'am." Hannah said with a smile

"Hi mommy!" Arisa said with as much enthusiasm as she could muster, "How's your trip?"

"Oh it's just lovely. These people at Yeng know how to make a girl feel important." Kritsana laughed, causing her jowls to ripple in delight, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding... of course I'm important. But enough about me, how's your trip going, sweetheart? Are you enjoying staying with your friend?"

"I am. Daven's Port is great." Arisa said with a weak smile. Gaawwwd why was this taking so loooong?! "We just had donuts."

"D's Donuts." Hannah interjected, "You remember them, don't you ma'am?"

"Ohh! I haven't had D's since I visited the Yeng offices in Daven's Port!" Kritsana said dreamily, "Arisa, honey, you have to try--"

"The bear claws, I know." Arisa puffed, "They're really great."

"Aren't they though?"

"So great."

Arisa was so tired. All this eating had really tuckered her out. And then she had walked back to the car, plopped herself down... moving around at her size wasn't was easy as she had thought it would be, which is why she seldom did it. For the past month, Arisa hadn't even left the hotel grounds. Venturing this far out, in the hot sun, getting in and out of booths... walking to cars. Arisa was exhausted! So exhausted that talking to her dear mother was even a chore!

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying your stay there." Kritsana said with a cheek-appling smile, "Because it looks like my trip is going to be put on a bit of a hold for... oh, let's say a while."

"Is everything okay?" Arisa asked, "Negotiations falling through?"

"Oh no! Mr. Yeng just wants me to oversee the installation of some new equipment. Nothing too important..." Kritsana moved off-screen for a bite of some sort of Japanese dessert, and returned with fruit filling on the side of her face, "Mm... no, I'm just going to need to stay here for a bit longer. Do you mind staying with your friend?"

"Of course not!" Hannah interjected again, smiling nervously, "Arisa's always welcome at the Hammond hotel. I'll make sure she's well taken care of!"

"Wonderful!" Kritsana said with a jovial laugh, "Alright, I'll call you later. Goodbye sweetie!"

"G-Goodbye..." Arisa gave a polite little finger wave as the television screen went black...

That was so strange. Her mother's business dealings never went over schedule for so long that she had to rearrange travel agreements. Arisa idly wondered who would make sure their various maids and servants kept up their slack around the house. Arisa hadn't been home since graduation! And now she was going to be out in Daven's Port for even longer...

She supposed, with a greedy pat of her stomach, that there were worse places to vacation...
