Eight friends (Ben, Jason, Mark, Rick, Rachel, Scotty, Catherine and Hilary) go on a spring break vacation but they don't go to any of the typical touristy places. Mark finds a place by a lake away from the crowds. There is a town on the other end of the lake they can drive to for supplies. The vacation house does have electricity and running water. It even has a heated pool so they don't have to swim in the chilly lake.
For entertainment, they can go water skiing or driving through the nearby dunes. Also, even though the crowds are small, there are enough other spring breakers around the lake for some night life.
The first night, Mark suggests a game of musical suits. They invite some of the neighbors as well. "There are twelve guys here. We have eleven swim suits. We put the suits up as prizes in a series of eleven contests. The winner in each contest gets a swim suit. After the eleventh contest, whoever hasn't gotten a swim suit has to be naked and stay in the party until two a.m.."
Rick protests, "Not fair. Jason would probably strip naked anyway."
Mark says, "I know. He's the one who didn't bring a suit to begin with. We'll have to come up with a different penalty for him to encourage him to win a suit."
The rules are decided and the first contest is a simple foot race. One of the neighbors wins the first swimsuit. But he wants to compete in the second contest despite his victory. Mark allows it.
Ben protests, "If he wins two suits, more than one person will end up naked."
Mark says, "The rules stand. Eleven contests and one suit awarded each contest. I leave the option up to you whether to compete or not but at the end of the eleven contests, whichever guys haven't won suits have to be naked."
