"When she goes to put on make-up, we'll be right at her fingertips," Dad answers. "This way, we'll let her come to us."

As Dad predicted, the straps of the make-up bag are perfect for climbing. The design leaves small indentations that you two can grip, and the angle at which the straps lie on the floor allow for an easy ascent. Once you two reach the top, you both grab hold of the unzipped teeth. Unfortunately, the interior of the bag is difficult to discern, and you realize that once you pull yourself up, you will likely fall either into or off of the bag.
"Don't worry," Dad says, noticing your apprehension. "It should be safe to drop into. Do you want me to go first?"
