"How about the arcade? Always some funny stuff going on there." Kaori suggested.
"Sound fun." Mariko said, as Chiharu nodded in agreement.
The local arcade wasn't really a wholesome place for normal gaming. It was a bit more of an adult-oriented arcade. Many of the games featured crude humor and some even rewarded the player with pictures of naked men and women if they won enough times. The place always had a permanent odor of tobacco since the owner was a heavy smoker and allowed smoking inside, even though it was technically against the law to let people smoke indoors. Some of the machines were even made more for gambling and would reward you with more tokens instead of simply giving you a score. These things, almost paradoxically, made it even more of an attractive place to kids and teenagers since their parents wouldn't let them go there normally.
The three girls went in and were greeted by the owner, a friendly fat balding man who everyone called "Bear-Dog". No one knew his real name, he was just called "Bear-Dog" by everyone.
"Hey, girlies! Welcome in! You're some of the first ones here." He said.
"Aw, cool! no lines this time of day!" Kaori said.
The three of them exchanged a little bit of money for some token and went for a game.
"Ohh, let's try this one! I never played this!" Kaori said.
She ran over to a game called "Saucy Bowling". It was a bowling game that would show you pictures of naked men if you scored repeated strikes.
"Hey, you kids! That game's for adults!" Bear-Dog said.
"We're 13. That's adult enough, right?" Mariko said.
Bear-Dog shrugged his shoulders.
"Eh, suit yourself. I ain't gonna stop you, but I warned you, Saucy Bowling gets mighty saucy. Try not to pass out form the sauciness." He said.
The three girls put in their tokens and started up a game of Saucy Bowling
