Laughter

....................hysterical laughter.

Kate crept quietly down the path. Where was it coming from?

She wandered straight down the path for a quarter mile before she saw two pairs of shoes and socks tossed casually on the side of the path.

The laughter was louder now.

It wasn't coming from the path, but off to the right side.

Kate grew apprehensive.

Should she keep going on her run or investigate?
