"No no, I'm not doing any tests at the moment.." Kate said trying to convince her son. "I just need some help with fixing my machine here." She points at her new invention. "Could you please take a wrench and try to tighten up this screw, this screw, this screw and this screw?" She shows Mike the ones she wants to get tighten up, or at least the ones she pretended to be tighten up. "I am not strong enough for it."
"If I have to." Mike replied a little annoyed. He took a wrench and walked to the first screw. Mike tried to tighten it, but it didn't move a bit. "This is already tight, mom." He said.
"Oh." Kate replied putting on a false surprised tone. "Could you try the other screws too? I don't know what will happen if they are loose."
Mike let out a sigh and continued with the next screw. "I don't know why you called me, they are all tight." He said after his forth screw.
"That is good to hear." His mother said. "If they weren't I wouldn't get to swap my body with you." Before Mike could react she connected her son with the machine like she already did with her body. She pushed a button on the machine and it began to run.
"What the hell did you do, mom?" Mike turned to his mother. He saw her smiling at him.
"Don't worry, Mike." She said. "I think you'll enjoy my body as much as I will enjoy yours."
The machine got louder and for a short while Mike's perspective of view changed. For a few seconds he didn't see his mother before him but himself.
"Stop it mom." Mike said while taking a step forward. Then the perspective changed again and he walked a step with his mothers body before he got back into his.
"Sorry, Mike, but I can't stop it." Kate said not sounding sorry about it. "And I don't want to stop it." Again she and Mike swapped their perspectives and she talked with her son's voice.
"No mom, stop it." Mike tried again with her mothers voice just before he swapped back again. "I don't want to be you. I don't want to be you." Again he swapped back into his mothers body. "I don't want to be you. I don't want to be you."
Suddenly the machine stopped making any noise. Mike, now in his mothers body, got silent. A few seconds passed without him and his mother swapping places. Then, all of a sudden, ....
