Chapter #4
Okapi That
by: Unknown
You wake up to the sound of stomping hooves and then you spring up out of your bed (actually a giant scarf) and look to the side to see the clock on top of the jukebox and that it was only 4 in the morning. It hadn’t even rung yet. You let out a sigh. “I should’ve known,” you say. “There must be a major wave this morning. She’s always up to catch the tide. You look around the workshop to see several surfboards. Some of which were already finished while some were only painted half-way and there was one that was still being carved. Of course, given how lazy your mistress was at times, you were surprised that she even got any work done. When she wasn’t slacking off, she was busy surfing and she usually dragged you along.
The only consolation was that compared to some other creatures that visited the beach, she was a very decent creature to be owned by. The world you lived in was a distant world where anthropomorphic animals, bigger than the likes of Godzilla or King Kong, were in charge and what little humans there were that lived on this planet- you suspected that they were descended from astronauts unfortunate enough to land on this planet stuck in the 60s - were subordinate to the giants that ruled the world. You had previously served under a rather nasty titaness who saw you as little more than vermin and actually attempted to stomp on you a few times just to have a good laugh at your expense. You still see that woman in your nightmares.
Eventually however, she grew bored of torturing you and gave you to her daughter. She had considered eating you but humans didn’t sit well in her stomach for some reason. Said daughter, you’d suspect was in her mid 20s. Her name was Sabrina and she was an 800ft tall okapi with bright white and brown stripes all over her body and long blonde hair with several flowers wrapped into it. She was a rather fat okapi with a chubby face, but most of her weight went into her enormous thighs and backside. In fact, she was so heavy that you knew she was coming a mile away. Sabrina didn’t usually get up this early but when there was a large wave to be caught, she’d be there. Sabrina lived on the beach (specifically, she lived on the end of a jetty) and she made her living building surfboards for other beach going giants.
However, a more accurate description of her job was that she did at a maximum 25% of the work. Carving a little and making the design ideas, but you were the one who did the bulk of the action since she put more of her effort into surfing than she did her job and relied on you to do everything within reason. You didn’t like how lazy Sabrina could be, but then again, she was a major improvement over her mom and you knew better than to complain. After all, she was still MUCH bigger than you.
You turn around and see Sabrina’s large shadow yawning on the wall. The enormous okapi walks in with her messy hair covering her face and horns, her long neck drooping and her mouth wide open with her long, pierced tongue sticking out. “Ugh,” says the giantess before she gives a slight belch. “I hate mornings. Now, where is that human of mine.” You let out a sigh and stand up as Sabrina staggers into the room. “Even when she decides to get up early for her own plans, she’s as lazy as ever. Well, I better let her know I’m here before she sits on me again. Sabrina! Over here! Sabrina!” Sabrina walks in and lets out a yawn, giving you a direct hit of her morning breath that makes you gag and hold your face. This was going to be one of those days. You just knew it.
