Liz narrowed her eyes as Morgan stood at the door, leaning on one leg and resting an arm against the door.
"I was just shocked, to be honest. Didn't need to freak out like that." She smiled, attempting to lighten the mood of the room. "I'm sorry."
Liz was a little taken aback; she'd expected Morgan to return with several more lines of rhetoric about how 'girls shouldn't do that' and 'it was gross' - sentiments she had already heard countless times before in the past, but she wasn't going to lose face and go back on her punishment - she was just going to have to be a little more subtle about it.
"It's ok." Liz feigned a smile.
"But can you please control... that a little bit? That smelt so bad."
Liz laughed. "Yeah, sorry, I'm not used to other people being so disgusted by it. It's hard to deal with but I'll try."
Morgan nodded to herself and went to sit on her bed. She was willing to forget about her angered remarks and try to forget her roommate was a gas machine.
"So.. I was thinking maybe we could go watch a movie or something later. I mean, I don't really have anything to do for a few days other than settle in." Morgan got comfy on her bed.
"Yeah, maybe, if there's anything on."
Liz was already feeling another bundle of gas brewing up inside her; pressure building in her abdomen that she had to try and stifle.
"Yknow, these beds are surprisingly really comfortable for a college dorm. I was expecting cockroaches crawling out under the pillows and stuff.." The fox giggled.
"They're ok." Liz grinned, trying to verbally ease Morgan away from her pillow; if she realised what had been done to it then there was no way she'd forgive her.
"In fact, I kinda feel like another lie down. God knows I got barely any sleep this morning."
Liz's eyes widened in panic as the fox gradually lowered herself onto the length of the bed, her head sinking into the pillow she'd just assaulted only a few moments ago, and the gas in her gut was only rising.
"Ew.." Morgan's face convulsed into a snarling grimace.
"Wh-What?" Liz looked over from her own bed.
"This pillow. It smells really bad."
Morgan got up to inspect the pillow, turning it over and checking for marks.
"Really? What like?"
"I dunno... it's kinda eggy.. but not really.. worse than that." She paused for a moment. "Weird thing is it smells kinda familiar for some reason."
Liz watched in anxiety as Morgan's face seemed deep in concentration. She could tell those two little synapses were just about to join together and she was just about to realise.
