Liz looked up. She decided that she wasn't going to let herself lose another person due to her condition, and quickly jumped up from the seat, a very small final vestige of gas squeaky free from between her cheeks as she hurriedly opened the door and jogged out into the corridor.
"Morgan!" She called down the corridor at the small outline of the vixen heading to the stairs.
She turned round, muttering something angrily that Liz didn't hear as the skunk jogged over to her.
"Look - I'm really sorry about that. It was gross, I get it."
Morgan's eyes looked up and down, shrouded in annoyance before she decided to respond.
"You went too far, dude." Her speech was hurried and monotone; she was still wiping her nose, which stung a little.
"I know, I know, I just have a weird way of expressing jokes."
"Yeah, I'll fucking say."
"Seriously, though, I'm super sorry. Like, back home all my friends found that kinda thing funny and I just got caught up in the heat of the moment.."
Morgan sighed, looking away from the skunk. "Ok, it's fine. I did overreact a little bit anyway."
"Is there anything I can do to make up for it?"
