A totally not haunted house.

The two of you finally reached shelter... an old abandoned mansion. You stared at the abandoned building cautiously. This looked exactly like the kind of place where people would tell stories about ghosts, spirits, and maybe the odd mad scientist defiling the laws of nature in the basement. Everything about this place screamed haunted to you. But suddenly Tilly ran ahead without the slightest care. “Now that looks nice. Race ya ta the entrance!” She said in an excited tone. Before you could stop her she was off. Sighing in defeat you chased after her hoping those stories remain just stories.
Tilly easily beat you to the door, and rubbed that fact in your face for the next half hour. Meanwhile you looked around the inside of the building. Between the sheets covering the furniture and the thick layer of dust, it’s clear this place is been abandoned for a long time. Thankfully you saw no footprints on the dirty floor besides your own and Tilly’s so at least you were actually alone in here. Maybe this place is safe. Maybe your imagination was just getting the better of you. “Come on mistah!” Tilly called to you from the next room. You soon followed, starting to calm down.
