Zelda thought about it, then walked to the nearest wooden door and opened it. Even though she could sense a familiar aura coming from the orb of light, she wanted to check the rest of the shrine, just in case. Who knows, she thought to herself, maybe I'll find something of use.
The room was lackluster compared to the area with the altar. Simple wooden cabinets lined one of the walls, and a mahogany table stood in the middle of the room, with a cardboard box sitting on it. Raising an eyebrow, the princess walked over to the table and opened the box. Her eyes widened in surprise as she pulled out an Assist Trophy. "Why is this here?" she asked, looking it over. She remembered these strange magical items from the Smash Bros tournaments, but this one seemed different somehow. Looking in the box, she found a note. "Bring forth anyone of your choosing," she read aloud.
Thinking over it, Zelda held the Assist Trophy out and thought about who she wanted to "bring forth," as the note said. She could summon Link, as he would be a great asset in this tournament. She could also summon Midna, the Twilight Princess herself; surely she could help, now that she was back in her normal form. She thought her choices over.
