Friends

Jenn sat there for a moment and finally broke the silence. "How about we swap friends?"

"I guess that wouldn't be too bad. I'll do it." Josh said, commencing the swap. Nothing was different after the flash of light.

"Did it work?" Jenn asked.

"I'm not sure. I can't tell because we didn't swap anything physical."

Jenn started to examine the room looking for answers. "Oh, look over here!" She motioned for Josh to follow as she gestured to a couple of picture frames on a shelf.

Josh noticed the first one didn't look any different from before, as it was a picture of him and Jenn together at the carnival. The second one was different though, as it was a picture of him with two of Jenn's friends at a school football game. He recognized the brunette on the left to be Tracy Moore, and the blonde girl on the right to be Maya Wright. Even though they weren't in the picture, Josh also knew two other close friends Jenn had were Morgan Stevens, and Veronica Huff. Josh was standing in the middle of the picture, his new height making him a few inches taller than Tracy, but an inch or two smaller than Maya.

"Do you notice anything weird Josh?" Jenn asked him.

"No, what?"

"You're my height in this picture, that means the world thinks we've always been this way. Your swaps can change reality!"

"Oh yeah, I guess that's pretty cool actually." Josh commented. "What should we do now?"
