Still upset that his growth did not approve, Lewis had to head to school, knowing he’s gonna be picked on by kids bigger than him. He would always wish he was much bigger, just so all of this bullying from them would stop. But it may be impossible and Lewis has to wait for some years before he gets a proper change.
Lewis didn’t want to wait any longer and wanted to try and find a solution to this. So the best way to get it seen to, is see the school doctor and see what she can to help solve the youngster’s height problem. That way, he’ll know how this can be done, sooner rather than later, and he wouldn’t waste his time by heading there straight away.
To go through the corridor almost every day, is quite common to Lewis, especially when he’s still being laughed at for being so small. But instead of stopping or heading to class, he went straight to the school doctor and awaits to be seen. Luckily, he was the only kid in the waiting area, when there’s a female doctor came over and called his name over.
“Lewis Wright? Would you like to come in now, please?” The female doctor asked nicely.
Lewis nodded and walks into the room before he would sit on the chair and watches the doctor sitting on the chair, where she had a desktop, and other things on her desk. He can see her name is Dr Smith, so he’ll know exactly who it was he was seen to.
“So Lewis, what’s seems to be the problem!” Dr Smith wondered and had her notes ready and listens to what Lewis has to say.
“Well, I’ve always been the smallest kid in class. Literally I’m 4’3, but I wanna get taller, because I have everybody making fun of me, non stop! I’ve measured myself everyday, and it doesn’t seem to think it can happen to me, sooner than I think.” Lewis explains, which he had to get deep breaths in between those sentences.
“Hmm... sounds like you’ve got some stress you always wanted to be taller, and hoping those bullies would stop making fun of you.” Dr Smith was rather curious on this one, but added as if she may have something in hand. “Now I may not be a genius, but I think I have something that can fix a problem for your height.”
That’s when she takes something out of the drawer and unveils what Lewis thinks it’s just a pencil. Now he had no idea why and what does this got to do to solve his height problem, but he’ll sure Dr Smith has her way with an idea.
“Umm... I don’t mean to be spoiled sport, Doctor, but that’s just a pencil. How is that gonna help me at all?” Lewis wondered in confusion.
“Ah, you may think about it, but it’s not just any ordinary pencil at all. Why don’t you stand behind the wall for me? But instead of making by your head, I want you to mark, leaving a gap between your head and the link you draw. Then you’ll see what I mean?” Dr Smith gives Lewis some advice.
At first, The youngster was still confused, and quite didn’t understand why he wanted to do that. But he shrugged and headed towards the wall and draws the line of the mark by...
