Aaron was on his way home from school after a long day of studies, he had taken to the bully life pretty well and didn't want to stop there, he was still pretty young and believed himself to be free of consequences. As he walked, thinking of who to torment tomorrow, but his thoughts were cut short as he passed by the old photo center, it was a small job called "Jim's express photos", according to his parents, the owner of the store was great at his job, but for some reason, after over 20 years of service, he just stopped, he was still up to date with technologies at the time and offered decent prices for the service, but just like that, he closed the shop and left.
Aaron looked at the outside and saw it was in a bad state, the windows were dirty and covered in dust, due to the shop being somewhat hard to spot from the side, Aaron made his way to the side, where he saw a badly placed piece of plywood where a window pane was supposed to be, using his strength from the sports he was doing at school, he managed to pop the thing off and made his way in, curious to see what was inside.
The inside of the store didn't fare any better, everything was covered in a thick layer of dust, glass cabinets full of old cameras and film rolls, all of them useless as time and the environment took it's toll on them, Aaron was a little excited at the notion of exploring the place, all of the example photos, despite being framed, lost all their luster as the sun rays that crept through the windows each day for 20 years.
As he continued to search the front of the shop, his eyes turned to the employee's only door, jumping over the counter, he yelped in pain as a stinging pain hit his hand, looking at it, he saw that the glass counter top he jumped over was damaged where he put his hand and it cut on one of his fingers, thinking there may have been something to cover his wound until he got back home, he entered the employee only room, which had quite a lot more dust than outside, a wall had a pinboard full of photos, those however, were in much better shape than those outside, but still looked aged and somewhat unkempt, as he made his way to the center of the room to get a better look, the cut on his finger dropped a bit of blood on the floor, as he looked at the photos, he noticed something, each and everyone of those on the photo looked like their clothes weren't made for their size, at least a few sizes smaller than what they should wear. Aaron chuckled at the sight, but began to feel uneasy, as he looked around, that uneasy feeling never waned, he felt like he was in danger and proceeded to make his way out and left.
However, as he made his way out, he never realized what was really going on in the room, if he had looked closer, he would've noticed the weird traces that were covered by the dust on the floor, despite the gray shroud, the markings' dark color made it visible if he had looked carefully. Stepping into it and letting a few drops of blood drop on the center of it was a mistake he never knew he made as he simply made his way back home, unaware of what was going to happen to him...
