Adam was the first the stumble across it, and he knew he had struck gold with his find. It was a necklace, he recalled the word Usekh collar, though he wasn't sure where he knew the name. He was just paid to dig, the boss was the expert on all the artifacts. Maybe Adam had just heard him using the word on some occasion. "Simon, get over here, I found something cool!".
Simon sighed and walked over, still feeling guilt for his forgeries. But he needed the money, and so when he found Adam and the necklace, he began memorizing details, inspecting what it was made from, how it was made, and just how old it was. A forgery without proper dust and fake ageing would be easily found out. "A necklace, plenty of jewels in it as well, that'll fetch a high price, nice work finding it."
As Simon went to take it though, Adam held on, for a moment resisting Simon's attempts to take the necklace. A voice echoed in his mind that it was his, that he should keep it. But just as soon as it was there, the voice vanished, leaving Adam stunned for a moment. Realizing where he was and what he was doing, he gave it to Simon, who took it to a secluded area he had hidden the forgery tools. Still, with it gone, he felt a longing, like he needed to wear it.

But the money from their fakes would surpass any rewards the boss might begrudgingly give out.
Back at their apartment in Giza, Simon went about making another forgery. He was getting used to making them again, and thus the time needed to make them was reduced. Still, care needed to be taken, otherwise they'd be in prison, or in a shallow grave. The curse continued, unknown to them. That night Adam couldn't help himself, and took the necklace, placing it around his neck while holding the sceptre. Both Adam and Simon began to grow breasts, though for now they looked nothing more then lumps of fat.
The next morning the two headed to the dig site early, though Simon was concerned as he looked at Adam. "Are you trying to cosplay as some Egyptian Queen? Take the damn thing off before anyone finds you wearing it!". Adam reluctantly took it off, storing it in a hidden compartment in the jeep. They discussed what they hoped to find next, what would sell the most, what were the buyers wanting. They finally decided to search for.....
