The Rumor Really Should Have been Worded Better

    by: Frost Author IconMail Icon
Tatsuya and Eikichi had watched the concert hall at Aoba Park fill up with people eager to watch the debut of the newest idol group MUSES. Lisa's involvement with the band came to a surprise to them. In fact she was even blindsided herself into conducting an interview promoting the performance in her broken English. Still, that didn't seem to kill the hype as the open air concert hall was nearly packed with people all wanting to see "The biggest thing in Sumaru City."

The lights on stage went on, and the three members of MUSES rose from the ground. A spotlight lit each of them one at a time, ending on Lisa, who turned to the audience and began to sing to the music.

"Huh, who knew Ginko could sing?" Eikichi asked, impressed. While her voice didn't have the hardcore edge to it that he was looking for in his own band, it was perfectly suitable for a pop idol.

Tatsuya kept silent, watching the concert for any abnormalities. He had a feeling in his gut that the demon Joker would be involved in the concert somehow.

The performance was surprisingly tight for having been pieced together seemingly last minute. Perhaps the rumor that created the band was coming true after all.

Halfway through the concert, Maya and Yukino returned from backstage. They seemed just as alert as Tatsuya was, expecting something to go wrong.

And they were right.

The spotlight centered on Lisa for her big solo, she froze in place looking at the large crowd gathered to see her and her friends. She took a deep breath, ready to dive in and embrace the rumor.

A strange sensation washed over her body, like a deep tissue massage of fizzing bubbles rising from her feet to her head. She found herself getting higher and higher. She looked down at her feet, expecting to find some platform raising her up. That wasn't the case as she watched her shoes expand and begin to swallow up more and more fo the stage.

The two other members of MUSES began to run out of the way from the growing giantess as she began to steal the show. The crowd only watched in awe, continuing to shout and cheer as GInko grew at a quickening pace.

“H-holy shit!” Eikichi cried.
