Your curiosity piqued, you decide to follow the scientists. Sliding your half-finished bowl of cereal into a sink, you walk quickly down the hallway through which your targets went, hoping to catch some glimpse of them.
Your efforts are rewarded when you see the fluttering of a lab coat disappearing around a corner. You scramble to catch up, slowing once you reach the turn. You peek around the wall to see the younger man fiddling with a vid-screen.
He attempts to turn it in, but is met with a screen full of static. Frustrated, he slams a fist into the command console. "Dammit! Where's Engineering and Repair when you need them? Somebody should fix this damn monitor."
Now might be a good time to join them, the man's outburst giving you a perfect excuse to get involved in whatever you have distracted yourself with. Though it could also prove beneficial to wait and see what happens...
