Jake rose shakily to his feet, staring around in shocked silence. The mere sensation of being so minuscule, so insignificant in a room designed for beings many times his own size sent a thrill through Jake's entire body, particularly in his pants. He had little time to take in the spectacle of the giant foyer, however, before loud, rhythmic booms scattered his already racing thoughts. His wide eyes snapped to the dim living room up ahead just in time to see an impossibly huge figure emerge from the darkness.
It was definitely the Richard that Jake had been talking to, aside from the difference in relative size. He was a big man, probably very muscular in his prime but now carrying some excess weight. His silver hair was still full and wavy, and he sported a clean beard to match. Bushy gray fur was visible on his chest, as he wore nothing save a silk bathrobe and a pair of cotton socks. The giant stepped forward, looming like a skyscraper above the tiny young man, and smiled warmly down at him. "Welcome to my home, Jake," he rumbled, his voice a deep baritone. "I thought it would be more exciting for you if the first time you saw me in person was as a giant. I hope I didn't startle you too much."
At last, Jake was able to make his mouth work properly. "But... how?" he called up to the giant.
