Ashley and Red were more than just partners for a long time. Despite their vastly different personalities, they became good friends. But was that really it? Just friends?
Ashley always secretly loved Red. For some reason he always seemed much cuter to her than anything else. After some time, she started to resent the fact that Red was smaller than her. She wanted him bigger. Or her - smaller. She had to keep her desires in secret though. What would happen if Red had found out? The anxiety and desire was piling up inside her for so long. She wanted Red bigger. Much bigger.
Ashley was looking through so many books, but she couldn't find any growth or shrink spells. Day after day, she would just read and read and read, to no avail. She couldn't find it. Was there even a spell like that at all? She doubted that more and more. Until one day...
Red barged in through the door to the study room, with a book in his hands.
"Ashley! Ashley!" he gasped for breath, and then showed Ashley the book. "Did you know there is a new spell book, that has been blowing up in popularity in the Demon Realm? The reason for it is, that it supposedly has a working shrinking spell in it!"
Ashley's eyes opened wide. If it's true, then she can finally fulfill her dreams! She'll tell Red everything, she won't hide anymore!
"Give me that." She said, and took the book out of Red's hands. She then started to move through the pages furiously, searching for the one and only shrinking spell. And she found it.
"Red, we're going to try it out. Right now."
"Huh? Ashley, why do you look so... excited?" Red asked.
"None of your concern" Ashley replied.
"Alright, whatever you say." said Red and transformed into Ashley's Rod.
Ashley placed a potted plant infront of her, and said "I'm going to shrink this plant first". It was a lie, told because she didn't want to tell Red she wanted to shrink herself even when he would find out very soon.
Ashley charged up, her hair turning white as she did so, and fired.
