The Beta Tester

Technically speaking, you aren't a conventional player, not by any stretch of the imagination. You are a Beta Tester. Now in any other game, a Beta Tester would be an enjoyable job or voluntary position in which you helped iron out any bugs. However, with Kinquest, the same could not be said. As a "Beta Tester" you found yourself kidnapped off the street, forced into the game, and used to stress test the more unusual parts of the game.

As an unwilling Beta Tester, your avatar is pre-built, typically with abysmal stats for the sheer purpose of experimentation. Your avatar is designed to be fucked, dominated, humiliated, and maybe even killed by anything in Kinkquest. Which brings you to the one redeeming quality of a Beta Tester, if you died, you could respawn back at your starting area. Of course, respawning was also an opportunity to have you test other elements of the game. You might wake up an inch tall, or as a girl, or with a permanent Willpower of 0.

In a state of unconsciousness, a necessary part of being an unwilling test subject, you see a screen pop up, showing you what stats you had. Health was higher if only to keep you alive for longer, but, as if to spit you, Libido was one point higher than the rest...

The flash of information leaves your mind's eye as you begin to awaken. Slowly your eyes flutter open to reveal yet another downsides of being a Beta Tester. No choice of starting areas. Looking around you see...
