As Jake got up to go join a line, he noticed a stand for a different brochure. This one had 2 brochures labelled 'Temporary Services'. The first one was more an advertisement brochure and less informative than the one Jake had finished reading, and the other one was about getting paid.
Curiosity and a sense of cautiousness lead to Jake grabbing both brochures and sitting down to read them rather than joining one of the lines.
He opened up the first one and skimmed through it. The service was similar to trading bodies, but rather than being for a set duration as agreed upon by bother parties, it was just to do a simple task.
One of the first examples was someone at the dentist and read 'Hate going to the dentist but care about your oral health? Then have someone else go for you go for you...' The next picture showed someone on the dentist chair with a thought bubble showing someone else next to another picture showing the person in the thought bubble working in an office with their own thought bubble showing the person at the dentist and a speech bubble that read "I'm glad I'm not at the dentist, I have heaps of reports to fill out."
It showed plenty of other examples of how the service could be used, like a fake celebrity swapping with someone so they could have a normal day out, a boss working as a new employee to see how things were on the ground level, other medical procedures, someone injured signing legal documents while they recovered (at least that's how Jake chose to read it), people with mobility issues enjoying a day out at the theme park. One of the last ones was someone attending a wedding while it showed that they were actually enjoying a day of golf.
When it got to the price there wasn't any break down and just mentioned that a consultant would discuss it based on task and duration.
Of course there wasn't really anything that Jake needed to get done by someone else or anything he wanted to do as someone else, so he turned to the next brochure.
This one was about how to make money by being the person doing and enabling the other person to do the tasks they wanted. This one appealed to Jake more as being a college student he could always do with the extra money and it was a lot more temporary than the trading option in the last brochure.
As he read the last page he saw that there were different pay brackets based on how long you could work.
