David sat in his playpen watching his mom sit at the kitchen table signing bills along with the numerous other paperwork that was there. “Mama I wanna play...” thought baby David. She continued to work simply acknowledging her son was staring with a smile. “Hey there baby....I wonder what you’re thinking about” said Claudia out loud in exaggerated tone. “Why won’t you play with me...” thought David again. At that moment David’s dad Jim came out of the bathroom. “Daddy! Make mama play with me” thought David. “Hey there talk about timing huh sport? Soon you’re gonna use the potty just like mom and dad” said Jim as he patted David’s head.
“No potty, just play time!” Thought David. “Alright now that I’m outta there i gotta get ready for the shareholder meeting. Shouldn’t be more than an hour afterwards I’ll get some new potty training stuff and get started on David on the potty tomorrow tomorrow, you’re ok with that?” asked Jim. “Oh yea go ahead I gotta long day of bills and papers anyway” answered Claudia as she organized some of the papers. David instantly got fussier. “No work no potty just playtime” he thought as he got grumpier. “Looks like somebody’s in a bad mood” said Jim. “He’ll be fine he has a nice playpen and lots of toys!” said Claudia happily.
David couldn’t take it anymore and was getting grumpier by the second. “You know what all this talk about work and potty training is probably getting him excited! He wants to grow up” said Jim. “You really think so? That’d be so amazing, wish we could get him to talk more and get out of his head a little bit” said Claudia. David was done...he only just started being a toddler and it was already time to grow up and no more fun playtime just potties and work. At this moment his eyes started glowing bright purple briefly for a second, not that Jim and Claudia actually noticed. Soon after David started mumbling gibberish loud enough to make his parents turn their heads at him. Jim took the first step forward him but Claudia put her arm to stop him. “No no it’s fine I’ll go see what’s up with him” said Claudia as Jim left the room.
Claudia then walked over to David’s play pen and bent over to see what’s wrong with him. “What’s going on David? Do you need mommy to change you?” she said not expecting an answer back. *No mommy, I change you* said David as his eyes started glowing purple, and shortly thereafter his mom’s eyes did as well.
